After more than fifteen years of developing and executing events and marketing campaigns for a wide range of companies, Marcia Barahona established DARKblue Events, where her expertise and passion, along with a carefully selected work-team, help companies and organizations put their best foot forward on a local and global level. From trade shows to product launches and sales summits to themed corporate parties, DARKblue will be your partner every step of the way—from A through Z.
Marcia’s track record in event design and execution, as well as general-market and cross-cultural communications, encompasses a wide range of industries and sectors (private and nonprofit), from Consumer Electronics, Mobile Technology, and Medical Devices to Solar Energy and Health & Beauty. Additionally, she spent a decade working in bilingual community radio, television, and print journalism. Her campaigns and product localization projects have found success in the US and Latin America.
She earned her MBA from the Barowsky School of Business at Dominican University of California, a BA in Business from Dominican University of California, and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Management and Development from ESCEM Business School in France. When she’s not busy designing events and marketing campaigns, you can find her daydreaming about and planning her next travel adventure.
